Part-Time Sample Room Clerk

Position Summary:
The Sample Room Clerk is responsible for inspecting the quality and proper packaging of Corvest samples prior to sending to customers.  
.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull inventory that is specified on the sample order picklist(s) from the warehouse or sample room, depending on how order is booked. 
  
• Assure the quality of the items that are pulled, i.e. color, workmanship, functionality, imprint quality.
  
• Pack sample in proper packaging and with proper shipping materials (i.e. bubble wrap, paper etc.)
  
• Handle catalog requests to include pulling, packing and shipping.
  
• Issue inventory from picklist, process & ship the order using Max software.
  
• Physically ship order using UPS, FedEx or USPS online and postage machine.
  
• Inspect, pack and ship product proofs & spec samples.
  
• Daily interaction with Customer Service, Credit Department and Production Control to resolve sample order issues in order to meet deadlines.
  
• Organize samples for tradeshows and prep items to be shipped.
  
• Occasional order entry using Magic software. 
  

Education and Skills Required:

• Detail oriented
  
• Computer literate to include working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  
• Ability to be on your feet and walking/standing most of the day
